Things are heating up in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 with the Evil Queen set to unleash a mysterious force that will threaten everyone in Storybrooke. Emma and Hook will need everybody's help to protect the town and its residents, while the Charmings search for a way to stop the Evil Queen.
"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 episode 7 will have Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) teaming up to prepare for a mysterious threat that the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) will unleash. Titled "Heartless," Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) will also be faced with a huge dilemma of surrendering her and David's (Josh Dallas) shared heart in exchange for Storybrooke's safety, according to episode spoilers posted on Spoilers Guide.
It appears that the Evil Queen has encased her time-ticking threat inside a small vial. Set to unfurl its deadly contents in 12 hours, Snow and David will partner with Regina (Parilla) to find a way to save Storybrooke. A small magical sapling that bloomed from the two "Once Upon a Time" characters' true love will help to stop the Evil Queen's plans.
"Heartless" will also provide viewers with a quick glimpse at Snow and David's past lives at the Enchanted Forest. The said episode will feature Snow's adventures hiding from a bounty hunter while the then shepherd David encounters what appears to be a bandit during his travels.
Back in Storybrooke, the growing romance between the Evil Queen and Gold (Robert Carlyle) will help Regina to hatch a plan against the two characters. Meanwhile, Belle (Emilie de Ravin) will receive some friendly advice from Zelena (Rebecca Mader) about her unborn son and her relationship with Gold.
In other news, a familiar face will appear in an upcoming "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 episode with Alan Dale's impending return to the ABC series. Showrunners Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly that Dale's King George will soon threaten Snow and David's relationship.
King George's upcoming appearance will also unveil new details about Snow and David's past. The secrets of the past may also impact the two characters' future together, according to Kitsis and Horowitz.
