According to the latest rumors the upgraded version of OnePlus 3. The alleged smartphone that is named as OnePlus 3T will be officially announced on November 14.
This news about OnePlus 3T surfaced when an unknown device with the model number A3010, from OnePlus received CCC certification in China. Previously it was assumed to be OnePlus 3 Plus model but newer information revealed that it will arrive as OnePlus 3T. However,it is difficult to say whether OnePlus 3T will be the official name that OnePlus will go with.
Last year, OnePlus had released OnePlus X, a mid-range smartphone. However, the Chinese company has confirmed that it won't be releasing a sequel for it this year. It seems that the company is gearing to release upgraded edition of OnePlus 3 flagship phone.
OnePlus 3T Specs, Price
The key features of OnePlus 3T have surfaced on China's famous social website.It will be having 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display that will be providing a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Early rumors suggested that OnePlus would using LCD screen on its upcoming smartphone due to shortage of AMOLED display, but this rumor was denied by Carl Pei, co-founder of the company, Tech Updates reported.
It will be powered by Snapdragon 821 chipset. It may come with two variants of internal storage capacity such as 64 GB and 128 GB along with 6 GB of RAM.
It is expected to come preinstalled with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It is rumored to have Sony IMX398 16-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front facing camera.
The OnePlus 3T is said to have 3,300 mAh capacity battery with Dash Charge support. Other features include fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port.
OnePlus 3T is assumed to come with a price tag of $480. The release date of this smartphone is not yet confirmed by the company so the launch date of November 14 is not fixed. In fact, OnePlus has refused to confirm on a newer edition of OnePlus 3, Phone Arena reported.
Apart from OnePlus 3T, the Chinese firm is also rumored to be working on Android 7.0 Nougat for existing devices. Last month on Twitter, Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO, showed a glimpse of developers working actively to bring new Android version to its smartphones. The Nougat update is expected to come to devices like OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 2.
