The fifth episode of "Long Riders" has been pushed back by one week. Last Nov. 5, the official website of Long Riders announced that the series has been delayed due to production delay schedules. In replacement of the fifth episode, the special compilation episode of "Watashi No Cycle Album" will be aired next week.

According to Anime News Network, the official website and Twitter account of the said series will be informing the public about the show's future schedules as soon as they are decided. Previously, Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime series to release it as part of their fall 2016 lineup according to a separate report by the same publication.

The report added that although Daisuki announced last September that it will exclusively broadcast the anime series, Sentai Filmworks acquired different streaming rights to it that is not covered with the former's exclusive simulcast.

Meanwhile, fans over at Reddit are complaining about the poor quality of the previous episode. Some are hoping the animation problems will soon be fixed as soon as episode 5 airs. They were also disappointed that no cycling featured in episode 4.

Despite this, some are saying the episode was enjoyable, claiming it was the best episode so far, but quality of animation was still complained.

"Long Riders" depicts the story of Ami Kurata, a first year college student with no special abilities. One day, while she was walking across the street, she saw someone riding a folding bike. She immediately gets curious and uses all her savings to buy herself one.

After some time, Ami enters the world of long-distance bicycling and road racer bikes, and she builds her own cycling team called Fortuna. Fortuna is composed of four other female college students from the same school. The team's goal is primarily focused on participating a long-distance cycling competition.

The anime production of "Long Riders" is handled by Actas. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, Natsuko Takahashi is in charge of the series composition while Jiemon Futsuzawa is on character design.
