Many smartphone makers are working hard in delivering the Android 7.0 Nougat to its handsets. Just like them, Samsung was reported roll out a beta version of the latest firmware to its Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets.
Android Authority had learned that The Galaxy beta program app for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in now available in the UK Galaxy store. This allows users to register for the chance to install the latest Samsung software to their S7 and S7 Edge devices. Also, as part of the program the owners of the handset can provide feedback on the experience.
It was also noted that the app's APK file was uploaded to the XDA Developers forums. Nevertheless, it seems that the Samsung servers which offered the system aren't currently online. An official notice from Samsung Electronics will likely be made before this happens.
Furthermore, Morning News USA reported that Samsung Electronics will make an official pronouncement regarding Android 7.0 Nougat beta program for Galaxy 7 and S7 Edge in the next few days. As a reference, it can be remembered that this is not the first time that South Korean tech giant has introduced a beta program for an OS. In the past, Samsung launched Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge using a beta program. The release of the program took place December 2015 right before the final update that happened on February 2016.
Although it is not yet known as to when Samsung will bring the servers online, there have been rumors stating that not all who register will be part in the beta testing finally. Nonetheless, for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge owners who wanted to test and sign up for the Galaxy Beta Program App, they should go to the Android Store. But then, Samsung is most probable to get the random testers from those who joined first.
