An amazon promotional image for "Mass Effect Andromeda" video game points out the expected release date which is Mar. 21, 2017.

On the Amazon page, the Xbox One digital download code is marked with a date "March 21, 2016" on it. This date is clearly a mistake since Mar. 21, has already passed.

This date gives a strong indication that "Mass Effect Andromeda" is probably making its entry on Mar. 21, 2017. Wario64 tweeted saying "Mass Effect Andromeda XBO digital code pic says the game is playable on March 21, 2017, http://amzn.to/2ejghzY ." March 21 seems to be a solid date as the Dark Horse book will be released on March 21, 2017, and the company promised to release "simultaneously with the game."

Digital codes for "Mass Effect Andromeda" are now available for sale on Amazon with a placeholder release date of Dec 29, 2017, but as the game voucher itself says "Playable on 21-Mar-2016", it points towards Mar. 21, 2017, which is again a Tuesday.

Speculations are piling up with the phrase "playable" printed on the game's digital code. It is possible that Electronic Arts is not planning a full release on that day, rather EA and Origin Access members may get an early access to the game, Game Spot reported.

Electronic Arts recently released "Battlefield 1" with first payable versions depending on the version you had pre-ordered and whether you were an Access member or not. Just like "Battlefield 1", "Mass Effect Andromeda" also comes with a multiplayer component.

This upcoming action role-playing third-person shooting game is the brainchild of BioWare and it is published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

"Mass Effect Andromeda" is the first game in the series to feature an open world combat environment. It takes players to the events occurring after 600 years from the event of first three "Mass Effect" games. Players can choose from a male and a female sibling character with the other continuing to feature in the storyline. Players will be able to pilot the buggy-type vehicle, "Nomad" to explore new planets showcased in the game.
