There have been several rumors and fan theories suggesting that "Teen Wolf" Tyler Hoechlin could be playing dual roles as Clark Kent/Superman and Cyborg Superman in "Supergirl" season 2. However, Kreisberg debunked the theory as he told TV Line that Hoechlin will not return as Cyborg Superman in the show.

This leads to the possibility that Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) adoptive father Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain) could be Cyborg Superman in the show. Jeremiah was believed to be dead during the events of season 1, but was discovered to be alive by Martian Manhunter (David Harewood) and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) and he was taken by Project Cadmus.

YouTube channel Emergency Awesome speculated that Cadmus could likely go on with the plan to transform Jeremiah into Cyborg Superman the same way Metallo was created, using alien technology or other means.

There are also theories that the real Hank Henkshaw was not killed and Cadmus will somehow transfer his mind to Jeremiah, using him to fight Supergirl.

In other news, co-showrunner Greg Berlanti confirmed that another character will be appearing in second "Supergirl" and "The Flash" crossover as "Legends of Tomorrow" cast member Victor Garber will be joining the episode.

Garber is known to play Professor Martin Stein, the other haft of Firstorm along with Jax Jackson (Franz Drameh). The said crossover episode will be a musicial as both Supergirl and The Flash (Grant Gustin) will be facing Music Meister and "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris will likely take on the villain role, ComicBook reported.

Viewers saw Martin sing during "Legends of Tomorrow" as one of Hitler's favorite singer. Both Benoist and Gustin have been known to sing also during ther "Glee" days.

Lastly, the teaser trailer for the DC TV four night crossover has been streamed as The Flash will introduce Supergirl to the other heros such Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), White Canary (Sara Lance), Heatwave (Dominic Purcell), The Atom (Brandon Routh) and many more as they battle the invading aliens known as the Dominators.

"Supergirl" returns on Monday at 8PM the CW Network.
