It is quite known in the Kpop industry that YG Entertainment is an agency that values talent more than looks or visuals. However, it seemed that the agency is slowly turning into a flower pot like SM and JYP with its new girl group - BLACKPINK. However, childhood photos of the members surfaced online and hinted that the members got plastic surgery prior their debut.

Lalisa Manoban who was cast in Thailand after she won the YG audition looked different from her photo. This sparked speculations that Lisa had her nose fixed. Roseanne and Jennie both have monolids when they were young evident in the photos, but may have had double eyelid surgery, which is popular among idols in order to have a fold on their eyelids.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK member Kim Jisoo seemed to be the epitome of true beauty like her sunbae Sandara Park. Her past photos proved that she looked the same since then. Even before her debut as a member of the girl group, the visual of the group was cast for ads and commercials. One is opposite Lee Min Ho.

YG Entertainment is not against cosmetic surgery as 2NE1 members Park Bom, Minzy, and CL have some of their features fixed in some way. it appears that YG supports artists' decision to improve themselves visually as long as they have the talent to back it up.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently held their comeback stages for title tracks "Playing With Fire" and "Stay". Different from their previous songs released in August, the new songs showcased the powerful vocals of the members, especially Roseanne and Jennie.
