"Empire" Season 3 episode 6 will also give viewers a glimpse at Jamal's (Jussie Smollett) inner demons and his coping mechanisms to deal with his post-traumatic stress disorder. The said character will also find himself in the middle of a complicated love triangle with a former lover.

Jamal will rekindle his romance with D-Major (Truvillion) in the Fox series' upcoming episode. However, it may mark the start of bad things to come that will include a scary life-or-death situation for Lucious and Cookie's son.

Meanwhile, "Empire" showrunner Joshua Allen told The Hollywood Reporter that viewers can expect to see explosive moments in the show's upcoming midseason 3 finale. Shocking revelations and events will paint beloved characters in a different light, according to the co-producer.
