2NE1 comeback may not happen anytime soon as the girl group's main producer Teddy will launch his own entertainment label under YG - THE BLACK LABEL.

The sub-label was established in May and is currently holding auditions for the boy group it will launch. The label is reportedly planning for a debut of the boy group in late 2017. Rumors claimed that Dara's cousin who is half-Black will be part of the boy group. The boys are hard in training in various aspect such as sing, dance, rap, and produce music.

This new venture of Teddy may delay the 2NE1 comeback. Teddy is also producing the songs of BLACKPINK, which is actively promoting this month. The group has released four songs so far and is bound to release four more.

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment is reportedly laying the groundwork for 2NE1's much awaited comeback. Park Bom is slowly reentering the industry starting her way in social media. She made a new Instagram account and is testing the reactions of netizens who once criticized her for her drug scandal. Many were surprised upon Park Bom's breaking her hiatus from social media. However, her fans gave the 2NE1's main vocal a warm welcome.

Minzy's departure is reportedly due to lack of solo activities during the hiatus. The 2NE1 maknae reportedly want to focus on other things. Minzy was 16 when she debuted under YG.

It is suspected that 2NE1 will wait until CL wraps up her North American and Canadian tour as well as Dara's commitments in the Philippines as judge of a reality show - "Pinoy band Superstar".

2NE1 will be back as a trio after maknae Minzy left the group and the agency. However, YG Entertainment has no official statement regarding 2NE1's comeback.
