"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 episode 9 "Who's Dead" had one revelation viewers have been waiting for. Several speculations have been raised about the suspected death of one of the characters with Nate Leahy (Billy Brown) and Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) included in the death list.

However, no one thought that Wes (Alfred Enoch) was the victim in that fiery explosion at Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) house in "HTGAWM" Season 3 episode 9. When creator Peter Nowalk was asked if he can clearly say that Wes is dead, he revealed an answer without hesitation.

"Yes," Nowalk told TVLine. "I did not know at the beginning of the season. I knew someone would be under the sheet. That was a decision we made the first day in the writers' room, 'Oh, that's a fun little mystery.'"

After the fire at Keating's house, everyone gave their guess on who could be the unexpected victim, but noone thought that it could be Wes. Rumors are high that Delfino could be the possible victim as he was last seen pointing his gun to his head. However, knowing the series, episode 9 could still bring an unexpected twist so noone can really predict on what is going to happen, according to Variety.

"HTGAWM" Season 3 episode 9 saw Keating receiving a surprise call regarding ADA Rene Atwood (Milauna Jackson). She confronted Nate about her present girlfriend Atwood. At the time that she would discover who died, viewers were able to see Keating's vulnerable side.

Earlier, Nate was another potential victim as his role is not reportedly essential in "HTGAWM." He has been watching on Keating privately since the early episodes of Season 3. It was also teased that the possible death could be of Drake, the Middleton University student, who intentionally vandalized Keating's posters with the word "murder" on it.

Although "HTGAWM" Season 3 episode 9 saw the demise of one of the most loved characters in the Shonda Rhimes series, it does not mean that Enoch would be totally gone. Wes will still be appearing in flashbacks in the remainder of Season 3. Viewers will still get to know who killed him and how he died.

Meanwhile, following the highly-anticipated winter finale, everyone is now looking forward when episode 10 will be back on the small screens. It is likely that it will not be returning until Jan.19, 2017. There is still no assurance that the Viola Davis-starrer series will return for Season 4, Carter Matt reported.
