Eminem’s ‘Infinite’ album turns 20; Fifth Eminem-Rihanna song soon?

Eminem's first studio album titled "Infinite" was released two decades ago. To celebrate its 20^th anniversary, the song "Infinite," which was produced by Denaun "Kon Artis" Porter, from the album was reworked.

The newly reworked version of "Infinite" will be released on Nov. 18, Friday. It is one of the several remixes prepared to mark the 20th anniversary of Eminem's debut album, which were released in 1996 with 500 copies only.

While the album was not a commercial success, Eminem went on to release seven more studio albums and become one of the best rappers in the world. He also collaborated with several artists including Rihanna, whose eight studio albums will be released in a 15xLP vinyl box set, Fact Mag reported.

An exclusive preview of the newly remixed Eminem track is already available online. The vocals in the reworked version have been left untouched.

Eminem was only 24 when the original "Infinite" album was released. He was discovered by producers Jeff Bass and Mark Bass, collectively known as the Bass Brothers.

"We thought, 'How would 'Infinite' sound if we approached it the way we went on to approach his later music?'" USA Today quoted Jeff as saying. He added that if he had played the instruments, the song would have been a different record and the real fans of Eminem appreciate the Bass Brothers sound.

The "Infinite" album had 11 tracks. Six of these are collaboration songs namely "W.E.G.O." featuring Proof and DJ Head, "313" featuring Eye-Kyu, "Maxine" featuring Kon Artis and Three, "Searchin" featuring Kon Artis and Angela Workman and "Open Mic" featuring Thyme.

It has yet to be confirmed whether or not Rihanna will be in Eminem's upcoming ninth studio album as a featured artist. The two have recorded four collaboration songs namely "Love the Way You Lie," "Love the Way You Lie 2," "Numb" and "The Monster."
