Jackie Chan plays the role of a head porter who leads a ragtag team that would fight a whole army with their brains only. The members of the team are an amateur tailor, noodle shop owner, injured soldier, a thug and a railway trainee, AMP reported.

As Ma Yuan, the railroad porter and leader of the team, Jackie Chan heads the freedom fighters to defeat the Japanese even if they are outnumbered and do not have arms. Their goal in crushing the Japanese is to provide for the poor.

The film is the third collaboration project of director Ding Shang and Jackie Chan after working in 2010 on “Little Big Soldier” and in 2013 on “Police Story.” The other cast of “Railroad Tigers” are Xu Fan, Huang Zitao, Wang Kai and Darren Wang.

In China, the movie would premiere on Jan. 6, 2017. The action movie would also be shown in North America, Australia, UK and New Zealand through Well Go USA Entertainment.

After 22 days, Jackie Chan would have a second film to be exhibited in China for the Chinese Lunar New Year. It is Stanley Tong’s “Kung Fu Yoga” where the actor would play a famous archaeology professor who embarks on a treasure hit in Iceland, UAE and India.
