Pokemon Go: Gengar, Rhydon, Alakazam receive boost in CP; Porygon, Pikachu have their CP decreased

According to new reports, Pokemon Go developer is changing the CP of some Pokemon in the game.

Niantic Labs has announced that particular creatures will have their maximum combat power lowered and some creatures will have their combat power raised.

The company said that it is doing this to create a competitive and balanced training and battling experience. Pokemon Go gamers will observe this change instantly.

Reports indicate that Gengar, Rhydon and Alakazam are Pokemon that are having their maximum combat power increased. Porygon and Pikachu will have their combat power decreased, according to The Silph Road.
