Now two DC characters will join the rest of the young heroes and these are Damian Wayne and Cassandra Cain, ComicBook reported. Damian Wayne is the biological son of Bruce Wayne/Batman and Talia al'Ghul, and the fifth and current Robin in the DC comics. "Young Justice" season 1 introduced Dick Grayson as the first Robin, before his transition to Nightwing in season 2. When "Young Justice" Season 2 a.k.a. "Invasion" aired, it featured two Robins; Jason Todd and Tim Drake. Jason Todd became the second Robin, but died before the events of the season 2 and Tim Drake became the third Boy Wonder during its first episode.

Damian in "Young Justice Season 3" would offer the character an opportunity to play with some kids his own age and experience real, healthy relationships with his peers, assuming Damian can tone down his own intensity and arrogance long enough to get to know them better. His presence would also offer an opportunity to further explore what it means to be "Robin", not just for him, but for Tim and Dick and even Jason as well.

Cassandra Cain on the other hand, is the daughter of Lady Shiva and the third Batgirl. She previously held the codename Black Bat during her stint in Batman Incorporated and currently operates as Orphan in the New 52 Rebirth storyline. Cassandra in "Young Justice" Season 3 will likely be a combination of her Orphan persona and a possible brain washed member of Deathstroke's Titan East team which feature teenage super villains.

Meanwhile, the possible plot details and storylines for "Young Justice" season 3 have been revealed.

Season 3 will likely start off in a five year gap similar to season 2 or even more as new members of "The Team" will be joining the senior members and the Justice League. There is also a possibility that Wall West could return from his "death" in season 2 and will likely be similar to the DC Rebirth storyline.

Darkseid could also be a factor in "Young Justice" season 3 as the possible main villain of the show. He was last seen in season 2 finale meeting Vandal Savage along with Desaad and news anchorman G. Gordon Godfrey, Inverse reported.

YouTube channel Emergency Awesome added that Darkseid could invade earth and possibly defeat the Justice League. With League incapacitated, the Team will likely step up to the challenge as earth's defenders. The YouTuber also addressed the possibility of a new Doctor Strange as Zatana will likely free her father Zatara from the service of Nabu. Zatara will be replaced by someone and name dropped Khalid Nassour, a med student in the comics.

Another possible storyiine for "Young Justice" Season 3 will have Roy Harper/Arsenal form his new team since he does not want to play by the rules of the Team and Justice League. The Outlaws could be featured in season 3 as the team consist of Arsenal, Jason Todd/Red Hood and Starfire. Perhaps Jason could be resurrected as Red Hood and Starfire could be a former member of the team by the time season 3 starts.

There is no announcement of the premier date for "Young Justice" season 3.
