Although Murray and his team at Hello Games has encountered loads of criticism after "No Man’s Sky's" launch such negative reviews and sales, they are still set on providing "No Man's Sky" with post-launch patches and updates. Hello Games claimed that base building feature in the upcoming patch is the most-requested features in "No Man's Sky" and it may be coming several weeks, Gamerant reported.

The "Foundation Update" as it is called, will not only have base building gamepla, but gamers will be expecting some further tweaks and alterations within "No Man's Sky". Unfortunately, Murray failed to provide any particulars as to what the patch would include, nor did it define a specific time frame for the update.

While Hello Games is pretty silient about the "Foundation Update" in "No Man’s Sky", they did allude to the controversy surrounding the game since its launch, which has included the developer receiving backlash from players demanding refunds, having its own subreddit close due to hateful criticism, and experiencing a strange hacking situation with its Twitter account. Not to mention, the studio has been under investigation by the Advertising Standards Authority for claims of false advertisements, but Hello Games remains positive that receptivity is key in winning back fans.

In other news, rumors are making rounds regarding "No Man's Sky" coming to the Xbox One console.

Murray stated in an interview that he was "very specific with his words" and he was not sure if he was allowed say something about it in the first place. Murray was more than happy to talk about the future possibilities that the new and powerful console hardware, could have on "No Man's Sky" and plans on having it to be procedurally generated. Meaning, more powerful hardware does not mean upgraded textures or a higher frame rate. They may or can fundamentally change the experience of what game is like in with better experience for the players, Daily Star reported.

For now, it is still unclear whether Hello Games will proceed with a Xbox One version of "No Man's Sky" sometime in the future. There are also rumors of a Mac version of the game, although it has not been any updates about it. Perhaps Xbox users could expect the game to be around at least next year.

"No Man's Sky" is currently available for the PS4 and PC platforms.
