BLACKPINK ‘Running Man’ episode in December

BLACKPINK "Running Man" episode will be aired in December as the YG's latest girl group is currently filming with the regular members,

According to All Kpop, YG Entertainment told MyDaily, "Black Pink will be on 'Running Man'. They're filming right now today (28th)." The girls are currently filming the show in Jeolla-Bukdo's Jeonju.

The details on the episode are scarce. This is the second variety show that BLACKPINK will appear to. They first appeared in "MBC's Weekly Idol". However, Fans may start to see more of BLACKPINK in other shows other music programs soon.

In an interview with Ilgan Sports, BLACKPINK was asked why they do not appear in shows other than music programs, to which main rapper Jennie Kim answered, "We want to show a perfect performance to make up for the long time (six years) we have been practicing as trainees. So we want to actively take part in music programs. We believe that we can join other shows once we can showcase our perfect performances on stage."

Meanwhile, YG confirmed that it will boycott MAMA 2016 reportedly due to the hectic schedule of the agency and its artists in December. "The final decision has been made that YG singers will not be participating in the 2016 MAMA at AsiaWorld-Expo on December 2 in Hong Kong." a representative from YG Entertainment has purportedly confirmed with Star News on Nov. 22.

"MAMA opened up online voting on Dec. 1, and we don't know if there's the possibility of winning an award yet," YG rep stated, as per AllKpop. "However, even if we do get invited, it's been decided that it would be impossible to prepare a performance for the award show," the source added.

This means that the label's hot girl group will be absent in the line up of performers. YG girl group BLACKPINK is nominated for the best new female singer and best music video. They are also nominated for Artist of the Year along with iKON, PSY, and Lee Hi.
