The "Legend of the Blue Sea" star is the latest celebrity to join the Lotte Duty Free production. "Seven First Kisses," also known as "First Kiss for the Seventh Time," initially featured six leading men namely "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" actor Lee Jun Ki, Lee Jong Suk, Ji Chang Wook, Park Hae Jin, EXO's Kai and 2PM singer Taecyeon.

Originally named "First Kiss for the Sixth Time," the romantic comedy web series was changed to "First Kiss for the Seventh Time" following Min Ho's confirmed participation. Recently released promo materials for the Lotte Duty Free produced drama already included a snapshot of the "Heirs" actor, as shown on HanCinema's official Twitter page.

However, casting speculations hinted that some of Min Ho's co-stars in "Seven First Kisses" may not be happy with his inclusion to web drama. It appears that the actor was asked to join the production given the popularity of the SBS series "Legend of the Blue Sea."

The said SBS drama topped the TV popularity chart Contents Power Index, according to Nielsen Korea and entertainment firm CJ E&M, as cited by Korea Herald. "Legend of the Blue Sea" nabbed the said chart's first place for the second and third weeks of November.

Meanwhile, some of Min Ho's "Seven First Kisses" co-stars recently attended the web drama's press conference where they talked about their respective roles. Held on Nov. 22 at Seoul's Lotte World Tower, actresses Lee Choi Hee and Choi Ji Woo were joined by Jun Ki, Chang Wook, Kai and 2PM's Taecyeon.

Chang Wook, who portrays a secret agent in web drama, shared that he wanted to play a different role in "Seven First Kisses," All Kpop quoted the actor as saying. Having played a secret agent in "The K2," he wanted to play the role of a "cool" guy but was given a spy role again.

"Seven First Kisses" is set to premiere online in mid-December. Watch the trailer below:
