Many girls look up to Rory Gilmore setting an example for being the perfect daughter, but is she?
"Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino got the whole gang together for a special reunion, but the screenwriter dropped a bomb on all of us shattering the image of the one and only Rory Gilmore.
However, looking back, Rory is not the best decision-maker after all. We chronicled Rory's bad decisions throughout the series below.
When she cheated on Dean
In Season 3, Rory starts to fall for Jess, but she is still with Dean. She started to treat Dean differently and spends more time with Jess. The whole love triangle fiasco blows over the whole season and ended with Rory breaking up with Dean and started dating Jess.
When she cut class to see Jess
It is undeniable that Rory is a straight-A student and loves school. However, she decided to play hooky one day and overcame by a strong urge to see Jess in New York after he was sent back home to his mother following the car accident with Rory. While she had a great time with Jess, she ended up missing Lorelei's graduation.
When she had sex with married Dean
After Dean was dumped by Rory, he dated and eventually married Lindsay. However, they had marital problems early in their marriage. Rory slept with Dean at the soft opening of the Dragonfly Inn. Things got ugly when Lindsay found out making Rory "the other woman". She carried on an affair with Dean, until he broke up with her.
When she agreed to be in an open relationship with Logan
After her affair with Dean, Rory moved on with Logan. She chased him, but the latter is trying to avoid to be in a relationship with her at first. Logan is the typical rich kid spending time playing, drinking, and partying. Surprisingly, Rory agreed to be in a "no strings attached" set up with him.
When she stole a yacht with Logan
Rory became an intern at one of Huntzbergers papers, Stanford Gazette. The internship ended badly when Logan's father said that she did not have what it takes to be a journalist. Devastated, Rory when to Logan's sister's party, and persuaded Logan to steal a boat. This incident ended with the couple going to the jail.
When she dropped out of Yale U
Following the internship under Mitchum Huntzberger, Rory lost interest in pursuing her education at Yale. She decided to take some time off, which caused the big fight between her and Lorelei. She also moved to her grandparents' house and joined the DAR.
When she had a one night stand with Wookiee
In the Gilmore Girls revival, Rory is interviewing New Yorkers for her line in GQ magazine. She ended up sleeping with someone wearing a Wookiee costume. Oh, Rory!
When she got pregnant
The last scene of the Gilmore Girls revival closed in a cliffhanger revealing Rory is pregnant. It was implied that the baby is Logan's. However, Logan is engaged to a French heiress, Odette, and he intends to marry her because of his family obligations.
