The winter finale is here and Mark Hamill returns The Trickster to the show. The promo for "The Flash" Season 3, episode 9 showcases what happens on the midseason finale titled "The Present."

"I know your fears, I know your weaknesses," Savitar says. He is out there and Barry is determined that he will be ready for him.

The promo for the midseason finale opens with a shot of Savitar attacking. He is still out there and one of the shots shows him saying that they will feel his wrath.

"The Flash" Season 3, episode 9 official spoilers
According to the synopsis, Barry heads to Earth-3 to meet Jay Garrick and seek his advice on how to deal with Savitar. Meanwhile, Wally offers to help The Flash battle Savitar as he has been training with H.R.
"The Flash" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg talked to TVLine after episode 8.
Kreisberg teased that H.R. and Wally will have an "interesting relationship."
"A version of Wells was so important to Barry in Season 1, and a version of Wells was so important to Cisco in Season 2," Kreisberg said.
"Then this year, it's Wally who gets this version of Wells that, on the face of it, may not be the world's greatest teacher, and yet every episode, we find that moment for him to drop this wisdom bomb on everybody else that shocks them," he added.

"Barry goes to Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick on how to stop Savitar. Wally wants to help Barry fight Savitar and reveals that he's been training with H.R., which doesn't go over well with Barry. Meanwhile, old wounds are reopened when Cisco faces his first Christmas without his brother Dante."
