A number of ski resort operators in China promote their places by holding beauty contests or hiring women in bikini to ski to attract more guests.

However, the Lianhua Mountain Ski Resort in Changchun, Jilin Province, did it a bit differently for winter 2016. The young and sexy women in bikinis are still there, shivering in their two-piece swim attire while holding cans which are likely baiju, Shanghaiist reported.

To keep warm, some of the women were seen wearing knee-high boots and sheepskin. Two held on snowboards, Daily Mail reported.

But since the operators of Lianhua are not sexists, they also hire muscled men to promote the ski resort, not just women. The men are topless and could also be seen skiing along its slopes. Some came in shorts. One skier had a cushioned turtle tied on his waist so in case he falls, his behind would not freeze. Another skier was dressed like Santa Claus.

According to Shanghaidaily, one of the Chinese provinces which skiers could try is at Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The region had 50 ski fields in 2014.

Among the top ski resorts in Xinjiang is the Silk Road Resort, located 38 kilometers from Urumqi. The 12-square-kilometer resort is one of the top three skiing spots in China which could accommodate 100,000 skiers at a time. In January, the 2016 National Winter Games was held in Silk Road Resort which has 12 tracks for beginners, intermediate and advances skiers.

To reach the resort, visitors could ride the buses from the Urumqi International Grand Bazaar. The 40-minute trip costs 15 yuan which is already a round-trip ticket.

After Silk Road Resort, there is also the Baiyun International Ski Resort which features a natural ski field, skating rink, 2-hectare fully equipped training center and 2-hectare golf course.
