In a case study that included 475,000 partakers, men are considered to be more narcissistic than women. While narcissism is known to be one of the culprits in a relationship, Prof. Emily Grijalva cited it as a way to improve self esteem and emotional stability.
According to The Times Of India, narcissism can lead to different personality traits such as aggression, short term relationships and unscrupulous behavior. Grijalva said, "By examining gender differences in narcissism, we may be able to explain gender disparities in these important outcomes." Researches who went through a total of 355 written journals concluded that men are more likely to feel entitled to everything as compared to women.
In a continuous examination that led to a 3 decades of process, men consistently scored higher than women regardless of their age bracket. According to The University of Buffalo, where leadership and authority is concerned, men are more authoritative and inclined to take the power. If an individual is looking for traits of arrogance, exhibitionist, conceited and self absorbed, they will more likely to end up in the boy's camp rather than the girls.
In the book entitled "The Narcissist Next Door" which was featured in this TIME, it contained the reality and odds of an individual knowing someone who is a narcissist and the possibility that they are intelligent, articulate and confident people.
The consistency of men running away with the "entitlement" makes them more the prominent gender to hold a position in the government or the financial aspect. They are even known to be the ones who seek more of it.
