Watford is on a two-game losing slide and has lost three of their last four games to stay in the 11th spot of the 20-team English top flight table. They are tied on points with 10th-place team Bournemouth but has a lower goal difference.

The Hornets are coming off a 1-3 thrashing in the hands of the streaking West Bromwich Albion XI last Saturday on the road at the Hawthorns, as per BBC Sport.

West Brom scored the first two goals of the game in the first half courtesy of defender Johnny Evans and midfielder Chris Brunt in the 16th and 34th minutes respectively.

Head coach Walter Mazzarri's boys were able to put themselves on the board with a goal by Belgian defender Christian Kabasele in the 60th minute following a corner kick.

However, Watford found a bad break in the 84th when Roberto Pereyra was sent off with a direct red after a near melee. The referee found the Argentine midfielder kicking West Brom's James McClean during the scuffle.

The Baggies then sealed the game with a goal in injury time from midfielder Matt Phillips.

Meanwhile, Everton settled with a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at the Goodison Park last Sunday for their fourth straight winless game, The Guardian reported.

The Red Devils opened the scoring in the 42nd minute with a lobbing goal from United striker Zlatan Ibrahimović.

It looked like a second straight loss for the Toffees but they were able to salvage a draw as defender Leighton Baines buried a goal with one minute left before full-time.

Everton is currently in the eighth spot in the overall standings, tied on points with West Brom but has a lower goal difference.
