The PlayStation Store in North America has started its Holiday Sale of digital games for its home and portable video game consoles. Starting Dec. 6, PlayStation owners in Canada and the United States can avail huge discounts on a wide variety of AAA and Indie games. The digital downloads are available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
For the PlayStaton 4, some of the games include: the "Assassin Creed" series, with price ranging from $11.99 to $27.99; the "Batman" series, from $15.99 to $29.99; "Borderlands: The Handsome Collection," which costs $19.79; and different "Call of Duty" games, which cost from $19.79 to $48.99. According to the company's PlayStation Blog, "Deadpool " has a $24.49 price tag, "Dishonored Definitive Edition" is being sold for $11.99, " "Disney Infinity 3.0" is at $5.99, and several EA Sports series games can be bought from $23.99 to $49.99.
The list of PlayStation 3 games include "Assassin's Creed Rogue" ($10.49), "Pro Evolution Soccer 2017" ($25.99), "The Amazing Spider-Man Gold Edition" ($9.89), and "Yakuza 5" ($19.99). These are just a few of the games available for the last generation console.
"Alone With You" (cross-buy, $4.99), "Assassin's Creed Chronicles Trilogy" ($12.49), "God of War: Chains of Olympus" ($5.99), and "Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2 Plus" ($4.99) are for the PlayStation Vita. PlayStation Plus deals and PlayStation 4 pre-order deals are also available.
The games offered in the sale event are discounted by up to 75 percent, while PlayStation Plus members can avail up to 80 percent savings, as posted on the PlayStation Store. Furthermore, 96 discounted movies are also available in the first week of the Christmas deal.
Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus members can also start enjoying the PS Plus offers for December. These include "Invisible, Inc.," "Stories: The Path of Destinies," "Hyper Void," "Tiny Troopers Joint Ops," "Color Guardians" and "VVVVVV."
This is just the first week the PlayStation Holiday Sale, so gamers using PS4, PS3, or PS Vita consoles can look forward to more titles in the upcoming weeks. Week 1 of its month-long celebration will end on Dec. 13 at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET, then the list will be updated.
