"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3 will return with new episodes starting January, and one of the biggest shockers have to do with Laurel's (Karla Souza) baby.

While speaking with TV Line, executive producer Pete Nowalk hinted on the possibility of Laurel's baby not being Wes' (Alfred Enoch). In the previous episodes, Laurel and Wes have had sexual intercourses, but the latter died and the former is at a loss. At one point, Laurel's boyfriend, Frank (Charlie Weber), also returned so it is possible that the two also engaged in some sexual activities.

However, the revelation of Laurel's baby daddy is not the only shocking twist in the upcoming episode of the hit ABC series. Nowalk added that there is also chance Laurel's baby will not survive. After all, Laurel was brutally attacked and was rushed to the hospital. When the winter finale episode aired, Laurel was fighting for her dear life. She got even more stressed when she learned that Wes has died.

Additionally, Nowalk is still contemplating on whether or not it will make sense for a pregnant Laurel to be part of "How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3. "The grappling is really true for the character, as you will see. It is part of Laurel's story in the back half of the season," he said.

Meanwhile, Weber previously spoke with TV Line to share some details about his character, Frank. Ahead of winter finale episode, Weber said that Frank did not really want to kill himself. Instead, he simply wanted to threaten Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) so she would forgive him. Unfortunately, the lead character is very smart so she knew exactly what Frank wanted her to do.

In the end, however, anything is possible on the show. It is possible that Frank was the one who killed Wes so he could get even with Annalise. He could have also called the police to capture Annalise since the latter asked him and Wes to go to her house.

"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3, episode 10 will air on Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. EST.
