Niantic's location-based mobile game - "Pokemon GO" is now rumored to be shelling out a major tweak that would bring Holiday cheers to its huge fanbase. Rumor mills are on full throttle as of late suggesting that the widely played game app will be getting new Pokemons on top of other features and content this month.

According to Value Walk, a Redditor who claims to have a friend working for the caffeine-induced beverage seller, Starbucks, took a couple of spy shots of an internal memo  stating some mechanics of the Pokemon event that kicked off a few days ago. Starbucks' collaboration with Niantic's game will help boost its profit as the company's chain of stores will officially become PokeStops.

Apart from such development, those who got the chance of checking the aforementioned Reddit post also saw what could be a juicy hint that might arrive soon in the game. Per the memo, fans noticed a phrase that says, "'Pokemon GO' is about to expand with new Pokemon" that may well seem to imply the addition of new monsters in the title.

With that said, players believe that the second generation of Pokemons might be heading their way, though some suggest that the inclusion of the new critters in the game might be in an incremental manner, Forbes reported. However, it was also noted that in the event that Niantic decided otherwise, a deluge of Pokemons could be added in the game in just one sitting.

Meanwhile, the so-called shiny Pokemons is also a viable possibility since it has been showcased in previous and current "Pokemon" games in which the notable mentions are "Pokemon Sun and Moon." For the uninitiated, shiny Pokemons are monsters that don a different coloration other than its usual tinge.

Furthermore, other features that are speculated to arrive in "Pokemon GO" include additional customization options for player's avatars, Pokemon genders, and possible Holiday outfits.
