"The Kliq" is one of the most infamous backstage groups in WWE history. Many fans were hoping back then that they will become a stable on television. In a recent interview, Sean "X-Pac" Waltman revealed the real reason why Vince McMahon did not approve "The Kliq" stable on WWE.

The members of the famed group are Waltman, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. They were notoriously known for using their power to bury opponents and get everything they want in the WWE.

However, the group disbanded in 1996 when Nash and Hall signed with WCW. The five men are still friends to this day but what could have happened if they became an official stable on television? Waltman has a good explanation during an interview on Talk is Jericho.

"We wanted to do a group together. We all wanted to do it together, like The Kliq thing, but Vince hated groups. Vince didn't want to do groups at all," Waltman said.

It should be noted that Vince McMahon did not want any kind of faction or stable on his television show. However, things changed during the Attitude Era when D-Generation X was formed by Michaels and Triple H to battle Nash and Hall's New World Order in WCW.

The creation of DX and nWo led to many other groups on television like The Nation of Domination, The Hart Foundation, The Ministry and The Corporation. "The Kliq" also influenced the creation of the Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Besides "The Kliq," there was one other backstage group in the WWE during the 1990s. It was led by The Undertaker and they were called BSK or Bone Skull Krew, per WWE.com.

Unlike "The Kliq" that uses backstage politics to their advantage, BSK was a normal group of wrestlers that love the same thing. There was a rumor stating that the two factions have beef but it was squashed by members of both stables.

BSK consisted of The Undertaker, Yokozuna, Mr. Fuji, The Godfather, Mideon, Rikishi, Savio Vega, Paul Bearer, Henry Godwinn and Brian Adams. They also did not make an appearance on WWE television as a group.
