Both Kuma and Panda are palet swaps of themselves in the sequel, the difference however is their Rage arts as Kuma launches his opponents up in the air smacks them with a giant bass like a baseball bat, while Panda launches her enemies like tussle around like volley ball and spikes them on the ground.

It is previously rumored that animal characters like Kuma and Panda were not suppose to be added into "Tekken 7" due to Bandai Namco having a tough decision of having non-human characters in the sequel. But now, it seems the Japanese developers made the right call in adding them back into the game.

Aside from Kuma and Panda, Bandai Namco announced that "Tekken 7" will feature an "Online Tournament" mode for "Tekken 7" for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

The Online Tournament mode will allow gamers to play with up to eight different players from around the world via online play. In addition, they can also get to chat with the players while spectating the tournament, Siliconera reported.

In other news, it seems that new updates for "Tekken 7's" story mode will involve the Mishima family in another conflict with a new faction.

The new "Tekken 7" characters Claudio Serafino is suspected to be the next enemy of the Mishima family as he is highly regarded as the leader of a clandestine exorcist group known as the Archers of Sirius. With that said, "Tekken 7" may also focus on investigating the exorcist group in the sequel's plot, GameNGuide reported.

Previous reports hinted that Bandai Namco will begin production of "Tekken X Street Fighter" depending on the success of "Tekken 7" and "Street Fighter 5". Bandai Namco stopped that development of "Tekken X Street Fighter" on April as Harada believed it may "fracture" the audiences of both "Tekken" and "Street Fighter" franchises. Harada added that the gamers who are loyal to both "Street Fighter" and "Tekken" have been proved difficult for them to announce a release date window for "Tekken X Street Fighter", and so it was decided that the crossover will be put "on hold" for now.

It is also rumored that Bandai Namco will have Tekken 7's" inclusion to Nintendo's new game console the Nintendo Switch as game producer Katsuhiro Harada stated in an interview that he was surprised about the unveiling of the new Nintendo console, giving gaming fans a slight of hope of "Tekken 7" being available to other gaming platforms.

The publication also asked Harada if would support Sony and Microsoft’s upgraded consoles, namely the Xbox One S and PlayStation 4 Pro. According to Harada, these gaming platforms are relatively new and it is hard for him to confirm anything at the moment.

"Tekken 7" will launch in early 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC.
