"Stronger" singer Kelly Clarkson admitted that she has dated "American Idol" co-star Justin Guarini. The "American Idol" alum revealed the "once dated" news on Andy Cohen's talk show during a "Plead The Fifth" game.
Guarini, during his show "Lovesick" claimed that he and the famed singer had dated. This has caused Cohen to ask the female singer, "What happened between you two- second base?"
Before the host could finish, Clarkson said, "We did not date during the 'Idol' season, which a lot of people thought we were. We did date during... I feel like we were not dating during the movie. But I feel like maybe we did. We did date a little."
Clarkson and Guarini found fame in "American Idol" 2002 season, where the "Already Gone" singer was announced the champion and Guarini in the second place. Both starred in the 2003 movie "From Justin To Kelly," a movie that won the "Worst Musical" during the Golden Raspberries' 25 year anniversary.
The female singer also took the opportunity to address the post she made on Twitter regarding the 2013 MTV Video Music awards. Apparently, a lot of fans thought that it was for Miley Cyrus.
"Just saw a couple performances from the VMA's last night. 2 words.... #pitchystrippers," Clarkson tweeted on August 2013.
Now, the Grammy awardee is backpedaling with her saying that it was not written to malign Cyrus. "I was just trying to be funny. I guess I saw some of the show's performances. While other's didn't find my words funny, I did," the "All I Ever Wanted" singer shared with Extra.
