Dolph Ziggler is the new no.1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight championship currently held by the Phenomenal One A.J Styles. For the second time since the Brand Split, Ziggler earned a title shot after another furious fatal 4-way elimination match with the Miz, Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper last Tuesday in Washington D.C.

Ziggler, former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, was coming off a loss to the Miz in their rivalry-finale for the Intercontinental title at WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs.

However, the Show-off took the bull by the horn once Shane McMahon booked a no.1 contenders match after finding out that James Ellsworth was unable to cash in his right to face AJ Styles for the title due to illness.

Ziggler super-kicked Dean Ambrose, thanks to the Miz's gimmickry, to earn the right to face A.J Styles in the year-ender episode of SmackDown Live on Dec. 28 in Chicago, the night when John Cena is scheduled to make his comeback after two months of hiatus.
