The latest details and spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature a new costume, a Justice League member joining the show and the West family the main focus of the second haft.
It seems that the second haft of "The Flash" season 3 will feature several important events for Team Flash particularly for the West Family and the future of Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Iris West (Candice Peyton). With the discovery that one of his closest friends and destined love interest dying at the hands of Savitar, Barry Allen will likely raise the bar even higher than before in order to prevent what he saw in the future.
Savitar's prophecy in the midseason finale has been the subject several rumors and speculations as to which character will die, betray and suffer an event worse than death. It theorized that this prophecy could be pointed out to the entire West family namely Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Iris.
It is hinted that Wally West/Kid Flash could be the one to betray Barry and Team Flash, Iris will die at the hands of Savitar just like in the future and Joe will suffer a fate worse than death seeing as what has happened to his children, ComicBook reported.
In other news, a new DC character will be joinig the cast of "The Flash" on the second haft of season 3 as "Sleepy Hallow" actress Jessica Camacho will be playing Cynthia Reynolds a.k.a. Gypsy, TheWrap reported.
Gypsy in the comics is a member of the Justice League and her abilities includes illusion casting to distract foes and turns herself invicible. "The Flash" cast member Carlos Valdes teased that Cisco Ramon/Vibe will likely learn a few tricks from Gypsy as part of "getting to her", possibly hinting a romantic interest in the future episodes.
Cynthia was seen in several behind-the-scenes footage of "The Flash" season 3 joining the Flash, Kid Flash, Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) and Vibe fight Savitar and Gorilla Grodd.
Lastly, Gustin tweeted a photo from artist BossLogic which feature The Flash having an impressive edited look, to which Gustin made a caption saying the it would be the perfect time for Barry to have a new costume.
While the chances of having a new costume in the second haft of "The Flash" season 3 are rather bleak at the moment, the showrunners will likely have plans for Barry to have a new suit possibly having a brighter hue of red in next season of the DC show.
The Flash returns on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 at 8pm on The CW.
