Middling club Bayer 04 Leverkusen (6-6-2, 20 points) will look to extend their two-game unbeaten run as they take on the challenge of bottom three squad FC Ingolstadt 04 (2-9-3, 9 points) in a 2016-2017 Bundesliga season encounter on Dec. 18, Sunday at the BayArena.

Bayer nipped a 10-man Schalke XI, 1-0, on the road at the Veltins Arena in their most recent game last Sunday to finally snap a three-game winless skid, as per ESPN.
German striker Stefan Kiessling provided the winning goal of the game for head coach Roger Schmidt's side with one minute left before full-time.
It looked like Bayer has missed the opportunity to score a win against Schalke as the game clock slowly ticks down, but Kiessling saved the day with a header from the center of the box off an assist from teammate Hakan Calhanoglu.
Meanwhile, Ingolstadt pulled off a stunning 1-0 upset win over erstwhile league leaders RB Leipzig at their home field of Audi Sportpark last Saturday, via BBC Sport.
Ingolstadt scored the winning goal early in the match with a close-range header by Brazilian midfielder Roger from a cross by Leipzig's own on loan midfielder Anthony Jung following a set piece situation.
The Bulls were not able to respond with any goal in the contest as the team was shutout for the first time this season.
With the win, Ingolstadt moved one spot higher in the overall standings, although they still remain within the bottom three relegation zone.
