Bob Arum reveals he has a plan B in case Manny Pacquiao and his camp continues to dodge the prospect fighting Omaha's hard-hitting champion Terrence Crawford. The Top-Rank top honcho believes a match between Crawford and Adrian "The Problem" Broner is an intriguing fight to make.

Arum told Boxingscene.com that he's interested in pitting in the reigning lightweight and jr. welterweight kingpin against trash-talking three-time division champ in Broner, whoever his handler may be.

BoxingScene.com:

"Broner would be good. That would be an interesting fight for Crawford. You've got to understand I don't hold it against anybody who's negotiating a contract, even if they ask for crazy amount of money. They are not violating any contract by doing that, so whatever it is it is.

I would certainly talk to Al Haymon about the possibility of him fighting Crawford, should Crawford not fight Pacquiao. Then it would be up for Al to deliver him for a correct price."

Crawford, who destroyed John Molina in 8 rounds last Sunday, emerges as the no.1 pick to fight boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, when the Filipino pugilist returns to the ring around June next year.

However, while Pacquiao stressed during the post-match press conference after the Jessie Vargas fight that he's open to fight anybody at any weight, his trainer Freddie Roach is a bit pessimistic on taking on a young and hungry Crawford, saying he would rather want for Pacquiao to take on hard-hitting but flat-footed Saul Canelo Alvarez in a megabuck fight.

As for the possibility of Crawford taking on Broner, the fight is indeed an entertaining one to make. Crawford is boasting an undefeated 30-0 record with 21 Kos, not to mention the title as one of the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. Broner, on the other hand, is a champion at lightweight, jr. welterweight and welterweight. He's scheduled to make his ring return after a 10-month layoff against Adrian Granados (18-4-2, 12 Kos) in February 11.
