Sunderland went back to their losing ways during the beginning of the season as they are currently on a two-game losing skid. The team has lost three of their last four games after winning two straight in the previous rounds.

They are one point below fellow bottom three teams Swansea City and Hull City in the English top flight standings.

The Black Cats are coming off a sorry 0-1 loss to current league leaders Chelsea also at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday, as per the Independent.

Head coach David Moyes' boys started strongly and were able to keep the powerhouse Blues squad goalless in the early goings.

However, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas was able to break the deadlock four minutes before the halftime break to give the visitors a one-point lead. Both teams were not able to score since then as the Pensioners escape with a one-point decision.

Meanwhile, Watford is also reeling at this time with three losses in their last four matches. They are now in the 11th place in the overall standings, tied on points with Southampton and Bournemouth but has the lowest goal difference of the three clubs.

The Hornets were blanked by contending team Manchester City, 0-2, on the road at the Etihad Stadium also on Wednesday, Goal reported.

City scored one goal in each half, courtesy of Argentine defender Pablo Zabaleta and Spanish midfielder David Silva in the 33rd and 86th minutes respectively, to hand head coach Walter Mazzarri's side their seventh loss this season.

Sunderland and Watford have low morale at the moment, but the Hornets are predicted to score a tight win over the Black Cats in this match.
