The Denver Nuggets may finally move on from Kenneth Faried, whose role with the team continues to diminish.

Faried has embraced a new role in Denver this season, with the "Manimal" only seeing action in limited minutes off the bench. The 27-year-old forward, who was once an exciting prospect for the Nuggets, has become almost irrelevant to the team as his playing time gradually evaporates with the emergence of Jusuf Nurkic, Nikola Jokic and other younger talents the team has.

With Faried arguably making the least impact on his team Nuggets than what he ever did in his entire career, trading him could be an option for Denver, according to Mark Kiszla of the Denver Post.

"After exploring a trade of Faried countless times, it's time for general manager Tim Connelly to finally make a deal, before Denver runs the value of a disgruntled, confused player into the ground," Kiszla wrote.

The Nuggets have tried to move Faried in the past three years, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe. Faried has been linked to several teams, but it is likely he would end up playing for a contender, considering the forward's versatility on both ends of the floor. While there are no confirmed landing spots for Faried yet, teams like the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors would make an intriguing landing spot for Faried.

The Celtics are looking to strike on big deals, but if they fail on such endeavor, Faried could be a viable option to address the Cs rebounding problems. Likewise, Faried would also fit the bill in Toronto as the Raptors look to add a defensive big man who can replace Bismack Biyombo's contribution on that end.

Western Conference teams like the Golden State Warriors could also consider trading for Faried as an added depth to the team's second unit. Faried would also suit well in the Houston Rockets' fast-paced offense, while also providing spark on defense for Mike D'Antoni's team.

Trading Faried won't be too difficult for the Nuggets if they know what they want in return. Faried is on a team-friendly contract, and while his numbers have slightly dropped this season, playing alongside All-Stars could bring out the most of him.
