"We've had distressed edges. We've had culottes," she told the magazine. "We've had high waisted jeans, we've seen the heralding of the new bootcut back again. I'm so sorry to say this to you, but the only way forward is ultra-hipsters, you know? Like super-low cut, low-rider jeans, to the extreme."

Elle editor Faran Krentcil asked if she meant Alexander McQueen bumsters from 1996, she confirmed that they could be back in a year but not at the moment.

In other news, Chung told InStyle that skinny jeans will never go out of style. She even said that skinny jeans is something that you can never go wrong with as she considers it as a perennial classic. "I'm drawn back again to skinny jeans," Chung told the magazine, "For a second, I felt like they were out of the picture, but when winter rolls around and you've got a big jumper on, all you want is a lean silhouette down there. I'd say, you can't go wrong with black AG skinny jeans"

When asked if she would be wearing a DIY denim, she said no but added that she attempted to make her own flares when she was a teenager. She used to buy old corduroy pants and added fabric to the sides which she thought looked really terrible.

Chung is one of the people who has made a significant influence when it comes to every single thing about denim. She has been popular for her street style prowess, and has partnered with Madewell and AG and has given endless reminders and lessons on fashion. She can do a lot of transformations and uses of any denim from being a standard dress to an alternative to an ordinary party dress. Her creations have been admired, not to mention that she is an enviably great fashion model.
