The cast of KBS 2TV's "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" recently got real about what it is really like to film a nude scene for the historical drama. Premiered on Dec. 19, Monday, the show stars Park Seo-Joon, Go Ara, and Park Hyung-Sik.

On Dec. 16, Friday, the six main actors, Seo-Joon, Hyung-Sik, Minho, Jo Yoon Woo, Do Ji-Han, SHINee's Minho and BTS' V, gathered together to give viewers a sneak peek of the drama, Soompi reported. The stars then candidly shared their thoughts about the said nude scene.

The scene being referred to showed the six main actors showering in the communal baths when Ah-Ro (Go Ara) accidentally walked in. The said scene apparently made them become much closer and comfortable with one another, as per Do.

"No matter what, the nudity was a bit burdensome for me," BTS' V confessed. "But before the filming, everyone was working out."

The "She Was Pretty" actor then cleverly quipped that the said scene makes the viewers' money worth it. He then revealed a production staff told them they were like from "The Legend of Tarzan."

This comes after producing director (PD) Yoon Seong Sik revealed what is going to be different about "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" compared to other recent historical dramas. He said the KBS drama's overall tone is bright and cheerful, but at the same time, it will have a serious side that deals with the real history of Silla's King Jinheung and other Hwarang members.

"Although it's clearly a historical drama, we aimed to create a historical drama that is also a fusion (of genres), talks about youth and has a modern feel," Yonhap News Agency quoted PD Yoon as saying during a promotional press conference held in southern Seoul.

"Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10:00 PM (KST). Check it out below:
