The Harmonizers were taken aback after Fifth Harmony announced on Dec.18, Sunday, that Camilla Cabello is leaving the famous all-girl band. Since that day, rumors have been hitting the headlines that it may be the beginning of the group's disbandment.

Fifth Harmony made Cabello's exit known to the public on its official Twitter account. They assured that they are going to continue as a quartet with the remaining members that include Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and Lauren Jauregui. Despite their assurance, they also hinted on embarking on their solo careers, which made rumors that the group is also separating soon.

As per Fifth Harmony's statement, Cabello's representative was the one who told them that she is departing from the female-all band. It was later contradicted by Cabello, who protested that she informed the group that she is planning to leave long time back.

Cabello answered Fifth Harmony's statement on her Instagram. Cabello wrote that she did not plan to finish things with Fifth Harmony that way. She also made it clear that there is no rift between her and the group.

Meanwhile, as the tension between Cabello and Fifth Harmony's members heats up, a relative of one of the group's members recently claimed that the former had a relationship with someone from the band. This could be noticed how the tension escalated with the group members, MIRROR reported

After Cabello's response to Fifth Harmony's statement, the band made its second and final letter, addressing several issues about the former's exit on Instagram. The group members admitted that they made efforts to reach out to Cabello through group counseling, plan meetings and label interventions, but was declined by the latter.

Fifth Harmony added that Cabello's manager informed them in November that the latter is resigning from the band. They also confirmed that her rep notified them that the Jingle Ball tour on Dec.18, Sunday would be Cabello's performance with the band.

Cabello's exit from Fifth Harmony coincides with her collaboration with Machine Gun Kelley "Bad Things" that hit no.10 on the Hot 100 chart, according to Billboard. Instead of celebrating her first Top 10 Billboard hit, Fifth Harmony's announcement of Cabello's departure led to a slew of rumors that involved the once well known five-member all-female band.
