One of the biggest anime this season, "Yuri!!! on Ice," has finally come to an end. The last two episodes of the anime has given a realistic figure skating event, but its ending seems to be hinting at a possible new season despite the fact that it provided an amazingly satisfying conclusion.

The finale saw Yuri Katsuki skating against some of his biggest rivals in the Grand Prix final. Everyone did their best to net the gold medal for the event, but the real shining moment of the episode is the exploration of Yuri's relationship with Viktor Nikiforov. Now, before the episode ended, the anime teased that there will be more stories to come in the future.

Right now, there is still no official announcement regarding the return of "Yuri!!! On Ice" but the likelihood of this is high. The final panel, after all, featured the text "See You NEXT LEVEL," which made it an indirect announcement at the least. With the remarkably positive reviews for the anime, MAPPA studio will certainly make good of it and produce a new season soon.

Additionally, the finale of "Yuri!!! On Ice" proved that Yuri was able to overcome his anxious nature and did his best at the Grand Prix Finals with confidence. He was even able to beat one of Viktor's records, and while he was able to prove himself as a capable skater, Yuri still seems to be oblivious when it comes to their relationship.

Additionally, the finale was tension-inducing in a romantic perspective, as the conflict between them unfolded. Regardless, "Yuri!!! On Ice" was able to fit an hour's worth of drama into its 23-minute episode. This is despite the fact that the season did not end entirely the way most of its fanbase had envisioned. However, the ending is still satisfying with their romantic arc, a birth of a professional rivalry as well as a pairing that fans have been rooting for.
