"Thor: Ragnarok," the third film in the "Thor" movie trilogy, will be bigger than ever. One of the biggest tease coming from "Thor: Ragnarok" spoilers is that the movie will incorporate the "Planet Hulk" arc from the comic books.

Mark Ruffalo is confirmed to reprise his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk in "Thor: Ragnarok." JoBlo reported that the third "Thor" movie will be based loosely on "Planet Hulk," which means a big clash between Hulk and the son of Odin will be one of the highlights of the film. The two are said to go head to head in a gladiator-like battle orchestrated by the Grandmaster, one of the Elders of the Universe played by Jeff Goldblum.

Another theory as to how "Planet Hulk" will come into play in "Thor: Ragnarok" is that Hulk will leave Earth after the superheroes agree that he is too dangerous to humans. When Hulk makes the journey to a remote planet where he can live peacefully, he gets sucked in a wormhole that brings him to the planet of Sakaar. In Sakaar, the Red King forces The Hulk to become a gladiator. This explains the one-shoulder armor The Hulk was reportedly seen sporting on set.

Meanwhile, director Taika Waititi released exciting information regarding a new character in "Thor: Ragnarok." During a virtual tour on the set of the movie, Waititi introduces a character named Steve, which many believe will play Miek. Fans of the comic books would know that Miek is a key figure in the "Planet Hulk" storyline.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Miek is an alien who teams up with The Hulk to overthrow a cruel dictator that forces slaves to fight in a gladiator-style battles. This dictator is presumed to be the Red King; however, Miek will be portrayed as having a human appearance in "Thor: Ragnarok."

There is a lot of buzz surrounding "Thor: Ragnarok," especially after it was reported that Benedict Cumberbatch's "Doctor Strange" will make an appearance in the film. Moreover, the movie will culminate the "Thor" trilogy and will lead towards the events in "Avengers: Infinity War."
