"Drain the Swamp" was the season finale of "Scream Queens" Season 2 and it piled up bodies for us. And, a new episode of "Scream Queens" is not airing on Dec. 27, 2016.

New Episode of "Scream Queens"
Season 2 finale marked the end of "Scream Queens" in 2106 and there are no official announcements regarding the renewal of the show.
The dismal ratings of "Scream Queens" Season 2 finale point that it is possible that Season 3 will be cancelled. The finale received 0.5/2 via Deadline. The show fell 44% from its Season 1's finale that aired on Dec. 8, 2015.
Meanwhile, Tyler Parker has started a Change.org petition to renew "Scream Queens" for Season 3.
"Scream Queens Season 2 Started on September 20, 2016 and has been getting incredibly low ratings that could put it in danger of being canceled. If you love the show please sign this petition to help us show FOX that even though there's been a big drop in the ratings people still love this show and want to see it continue. Let's show Fox our awesome fanbase!" reads the description of the petition.
At the time of writing this article, the petition has reached 2430 signatures and it has to reach 5000 before it is delivered to FOX Broadcasting Company.
