If new reports are anything to go by, LG G6 will come without modular options in February 2017.

The electronics manufacturer LG will release the LG G6 in late February or early March next year. Rumor has it that the LG smartphone will come without modular options.

In late February, the company announced the LG G5 smartphone and released it in April, prompting speculations that the LG G6 launch would also be in April.

According to a GSMArena report, the electronics company will launch the LG G6 device one month earlier.

LG is planning to launch its smartphone called LG G6 one month earlier than usual to raise its sales volume by launching its smartphone earlier than its rivals.

Unveiling the LG G6 smartphone a month earlier could let the electronics company to get a better edge against competitors and the release window could increase sales, leading to better results throughout the year.

Rumors are doing the rounds that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will have a delayed launch and hit the market in April at a higher price than the present Galaxy S7 flagship.

According to the tipster Ice Universe, Samsung Galaxy S8 will pack 8GB of RAM and will come with Samsung's UFS 2.1 flash storage. Previous leaks suggested that the device may be coming with 256GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM.

Also, according to a 9to5Google report, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, a new model from the company that will fit between the Galaxy Note series and the Galaxy S series, will reportedly feature a 6-inch Super AMOLED screen.

It is said that LG will ditch the modular extensions with the LG G6 and opt for a more stable strategy. Furthermore, abandoning the 'Friends' will enable LG to make the upcoming smartphone waterproof.

According to several reports, the company wants to concentrate on services and features that are at present in great demand across the Android ecosystem, such as waterproof capabilities, mobile payments and wireless charging.

The LG G6 smartphone is expected to have an all-glass design, a non-removable battery and an iris scanner for additional security. Reports also indicate that the forthcoming LG smartphone will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
