"Lucifer" Season 2 will soon see Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) and Chloe Decker (Lauren German) reuniting with each other.
In the upcoming 11th episode, Lucifer will find out the truth about Chloe. The lead character will be told that Chloe is miracle child and was born after her parents prayed to God since they could not bear a child. At that time, Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) went to Earth to grant the couple's wish, and Chloe was born nine months later.
"Stewardess Interrupts" will also feature Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) finding a way on how to encourage Lucifer to go back to Hell. The mom will use Chloe as a pawn to help her with her plans. While speaking with TV Line, co-showrunner Ildy Modrovich confirmed that Charlotte's plan on how to manipulate Chloe will immediately be unveiled when the hit FOX series returns next year.
Meanwhile, Modrovich also hinted on how Chloe being revealed as a miracle baby can take the series to a whole new level. Contrary to rumors, Chloe as a miracle child is actually good not only for her, but also for Lucifer. The co-showrunner added that Lucifer may change because of this revelation especially since he has very close relationship with Chloe.
"We try to make it always about our character's interpretation about what God's trying to do, instead of stating clearly, 'This is what God was doing.' The way I look at it is, yeah, Lucifer is the Prince of Darkness, but if he did start off as God's favorite son, is this a chance at redemption for him? Is this God saying, 'Let's see what you do with this, son?'" she said.
In other news, "Lucifer" Season 2, episode 12 will feature a confrontation between Lucifer and his mother. Photos released by the network for "Love Handles" also confirmed that Chloe will be kept safe. In the promo for episode 11, Chloe's nose is seen bleeding profusely. She is also very concerned over the possibility that something is seriously wrong with her.
"Lucifer" Season 2, episode 11 will air on FOX on Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. EST.
