It is known fact that the Frederator Studios have been given the rights for a "Castlevania" TV series. It is something that Seibert alluded to, as the property his studio is currently working on has been in the studio's property for 12 years.

Of course, the confirmation of the rumors is not yet addressed as of now. The most convincing piece of evidence to give a concrete foundation to the rumors is the involvement of Hollywood producer Adi Shankar. He took to Facebook and revealed last year he was working on a "Castlevania" TV show along with Seibert and Kevin Klonde.

Another piece of information that could point to the confirmation of the rumors is the fact that Seibert's announcement fits the period within the 30th anniversary of "Castlevania," which happened back in September. However, with the lengthy time of TV development process, it will take a while before the mysterious TV series will be aired for small screens.

Meanwhile, according to Screen Crush, the long-running cartoon "Adventure Time" will finally end at 2018. As such, a lot of speculations conclude that the next project from Frederator Studios will be "Castlevania." After all, a lot of interesting properties are being developed into TV series, and the release of the video game's cartoon adaptation does not seem to be far off.
