Among all the Korean actors with whom “Descendants of the Sun” actor Song Joong-ki was paired with in a bromance, it is with “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” actor Park Bo Gum which is the most successful.
The two actor already have two Domino’s Pizza advertisements that capitalize on the bromance theme and a new Line Pay commercial. At Saturday’s 2016 KBS Drama Awards, Song Joong-ki and Park Bo Gum had another bromance moment, Soompi reported.
Park Bo Gum Cries
When Park Bo Gum was declared winner of the Male Top Excellence Awards for his role as Lee Young in “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,” as soon as he got up on the stage, he was crying. He shared in this acceptance speech that while doing the hit TV series, he felt he was lacking. However, advice from Song Joong-ki helped him address his insecurity.
Host Jun Hyun Moo used the opportunity to tease Song Joong-ki by asking the 31-year-old actor after Park Bo Gum’s speech, “Soong Joong Ki, why are you crying so much?” While that was happening, Song Hye Kyo was laughing and hit her “Descendants of the Sun” co-star on the shoulder. When they noticed the camera focused on them, the two covered their faces with their hands.
Song Joong-ki Wipes Tears
Jun Hyun Moo also asked Park Bo Gum the question later, to which the actor answered that while filming the drama, he could not find a balance and Song Joong-ki gave him a lot of advice which really helped him. When it was the SongSong couple’s turn to receive the Daesang, again Soong Joong-ki wiped some tear before me gave his speech, saying, “Park Bo Gum made me cry.”
Soompi noted that what stood out in the dramas that the bromance actors starred in was the friendship between Song Joong-ki and Park Bo Gum. Jun Hyun Moo added the friendship would surely be another hot topic, likely in social media.
