West Brom has snapped a two-game losing skid as the team pulled off a 2-1 victory over a 10-man Southampton squad last Saturday on the road at the St. Mary's Stadium, as per The Sun.

Southampton forward Shane Long opened the scoring for the hosts in the 41st minute with a header off a pass by teammate Dusan Tadic. Head coach Tony Pulis' side then immediately leveled the count in the 43rd with a goal by midfielder Matt Phillips off an assist by striker Hal Robson-Kanu.

The Baggies were able to get the lead in the 50th minute as Robson-Kanu, who got his first Premier League start for West Brom this season, buried a 20-yard shot with Phillips as the passer this time around.

The win was West Brom's third in their last six matches and has placed them in the eighth spot of the league table at the moment.

Meanwhile, Hull City extended its losing streak to nine games as the team was held to a 2-2 draw by Everton at their own home field of KCOM Stadium last Friday, BBC Sport reported.

The Tigers were able to break the deadlock of the match in the sixth minute with a goal by team captain Michael Dawson after Robert Snodgrass' corner kick.

An own goal by Tigers keeper David Marshall equalized the game one minute into the first half injury time as the two teams ended up tied at the break.

Snodgrass then buried a free kick to give the lead to head coach Mike Phelan's squad before Everton midfielder Ross Barkley leveled the score once more to salvage the draw.
