Square Enix has revealed the new Dun Scaith raid and its bosses for "Final Fantasy XIV." There are also new side story quests for players to try out.

According to the official website of the popular online video game, its upcoming patch will be version 3.5 part 1 will be released on Jan. 17, while part 2 will come in March. The Dun Scaith raid dungeon can accommodate 24 players inside, and the bosses that they will fight against will be Deathgaze and Scatach.

The dungeon was discovered by Captain Radlia of the Talons with the ancient tome they recovered. It tells of a floating refuge, which is an island created by the Mhachi sorcerers that provided a safe haven. Due to the disaster that happened to the Void Ark, the residents who were supposed to reside there did not make it.

Cait Sith said that Diabolos has now claimed the refuge as his own, and transformed it into something of a nightmare. Players will have to go into this dungeon to finally stop the menace of the monster.

According to another post on the official website of "Final Fantasy XIV," the Saint Endalim's Scholasticate quest line will get an expansion. This will tell the story of another adventure where another incident that has occurred in the Scholasticate. It is up to the players and Inspector Briardien to find the true culprit behind the chaos.

The popular Hildibrand and his crazy friends will also be back with this new update. This will be a story of Gigi, former overlord Zombibrand's creation, who wants to resurrect the dead to life.

Update 3.5 will add to new minions, which are the Wind-up Estinien and the bullpup. New mounts will be added as well, which are the colored lanner, a throne, and a firebird.

The new update will add two new unisex hairstyles for more customization. They will also get the ability to be more expressive with the two new emotes, which are Spectacles and Moonlift Dance. Housing will get an update, which are aquariums and paintings unlocked by the sightseeing log.

PvP gear and mounts are also coming to "Final Fantasy XIV" with the "Garo" anime crossover. These new gear and mounts are designed by character designer Keita Amemiya.
