Pescara has not able to taste victory in the Italian top flight except when a 1-2 defeat to Sassuolo was turned into a 3-0 win by the Serie A's disciplinary committee back in August. The team is currently at the bottom of the 20-team league table, tied on points with fellow newly-promoted side Crotone but has a lesser goal differential.

I Biancazzurri was held to a 1-1 draw by fellow bottom three team Palermo on the road at the Renzo Barbera Stadium on Dec. 22 for their sixth drawn match of the season, as per Sporting Life.

Palermo midfielder Robin Quaison opened the scoring in the 33rd minute with a right-footed shot from outside the box with the assist coming from teammate Alessandro Diamanti.

It looked like another loss for head coach Massimo Oddo's squad, but Pescara was able to find the equalizer in stoppage time with a successful penalty kick by Italian defender Cristiano Biraghi.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina was also able to hold powerhouse team Napoli to a 3-3 draw during their most recent fixture on Dec. 22 at their home ground of Artemio Franchi Stadium, Daily Mail Online reported.

Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne scored the first goal of the game in the 24th minute to give the visitors a 1-0 advantage at the half.

Head coach Paulo Sousa's side leveled the count in the 51st with Federico Bernardeschi's first goal of the match, but Napoli got back the lead in the 68th with a goal by Belgian forward Dries Mertens.

Bernardeschi netted his second to allow Viola to equalize once again before substitute forward Mauro Zarate gave Fiorentina the lead with a goal in the 82nd minute.

However, Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini netted the final equalizer in injury time to salvage the draw.
