The automobile in question is the third generation of the Bentley Continental Supersports. It has a number of upgrades compared to the previous generation of this Bentley model. For starters, it has a 6-liter, 12-cylinder, twin-turbocharged engine. This means that the new Continental Supersports will be able to go from zero to 60 miles per hour in just the span of 3.4 seconds and can reach a top speed of 209 mph, according to USA Today.

"Only Bentley could create a car which blends immense performance and unrivaled luxury in this way," said Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer in a statement. While photos and a couple of details have been released about this supercar, its official unveiling will occur at the North American International Auto Show on Jan. 8.

The new generation of the Bentley Continental Supersports will come in two versions: a more standard, coupe version as well as a convertible one. Removing the roof from the convertible Supersports will incur a 150 kilogram penalty and will slow down the car to a point that its zero to 60 mile per hour time will be decreased by 0.3 seconds, according to Top Gear. However, with these numbers, it is still the fastest convertible vehicle on the planet.

A person who is looking to buy this car must be willing to part ways with a large amount of money. While fuel efficiency data has yet to be revealed about this car, its 12-cylinder engine will for sure guzzle up a lot of fuel. It is also filled to the brim with expensive materials such as carbon fiber fascia panels and tricolor diamond-quilted Alcantara.

This new Bentley will also cost around £50,000 more than the previous generation of the Continental Supersports. The price point will be at around £212,500 for the coupe version while it will be around £233,800 for convertibles.
