A film is being made titled The Great Saiyaman vs. Mister Satan starring Barry Karn or Superstar Barry Karn. The recap of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73 explores the new enemy Watagash, mean-spirited star Barry Karn and more.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 73 Recap

The episode starts with Jaco eating a bowl of ramen at a ramen joint in the outer space. He has Watagash with him and looks like he is transporting him. Later, Watagash is able to escape from the jar.

The scene cuts to Videl, Gohan and Pan at home and the teaser of The Great Saiyaman vs. Mister Satan movie airs. The movie stars Barry Karn, Amaguri Cocoa and Mister Satan. The reporter asks Barry about playing Great Saiyaman. Later, when Barry arrives on the set, he tells the director to change the name of the movie to "Barry Karn: Great Saiyaman vs. Mister Satan."

Meanwhile, Gohan wishes if Goku was able to see the making of the movie. Satan reveals that Goku might be out there training.

Elsewhere, Goku sneezes. Satan wants to tell his costar Amaguri Cocoa that Gohan is the real Great Saiyaman but Videl tells him not to reveal Gohan's identity.

Apparently, Gohan can be fired if people find out that he is the Great Saiyaman.

In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73, Barry tries to flirt with Videl and she is not interested in getting his autograph. According to Videl, Gohan is way cooler than Barry. Meanwhile, Satan tells Gohan about the role of a stuntman. Barry tells everyone that his stuntman should perform the scenes without wires or he will be thrown out of the movie.

Gohan offers his services as the stuntman, but Barry thinks Gohan wants to impress the girls. Gohan agrees with Barry, but he wants to impress Pan.

The first scene involving a tank is shot and Gohan amazes everyone including the tank operator. He goes on to give a speech.

Barry interrupts and tells the director that Gohan's Saiyaman pose is different, but the director is not interested. Meanwhile, Gohan reveals that he doesn't want to be in the movie, but Videl says that in the mask his identity will be a secret. Moreover, she reminds him of the old days being the Great Saiyaman.

Elsewhere, two thugs attempt to rob a bank and Kuririn arrives to catch them. Gohan comes and the thugs know him but Gohan has no idea who they are. Suddenly, Gohan remembers.

Watagash attaches himself to one of the thugs and fights Gohan in front of the police and media. Gohan almost fires a Kamehameha and changes his mind. He shoots a tiny Great Saiyaman Beam.

Later, Kuririn finds out that he is Gohan but, Gohan denies. Meanwhile, the news flash states that the Great Saiyaman stopping the robbery was a publicity stunt for the upcoming movie. However, the crew knows that it is Gohan.

Meanwhile, Amaguri wants to rehearse her lines with Gohan and he agrees. Later, she hears Bulma talking to Gohan and learns that Gohan stopped the bank robbery.

Towards the end of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73, Jaco arrives and aims the Space Cannon at the Great Saiyaman. He thinks Watagash has taken over the Saiyaman.
