"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" was a huge success on Netflix, and there are rumors that the streaming channel will soon order more episodes for the hit show.

In the final episode of the "Gilmore Girls" revival, it was revealed that Alexis Bledel's Rory was pregnant. Fans immediately clamored for the network to release more episodes focused on her pregnancy, as well as the giving birth of her baby.

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Bledel was asked if she will once again be open to starring in a "Gilmore Girls" revival if it will only be released in another decade.

The actress said that she will definitely be on board as long as the timing and the story feels right for her. "The only thing I can say about a future installment of the show would be that it would be about the story and certainly the timing. We want to tell a good story," she said.

Meanwhile, the actress could also help but thank fans for tuning in and supporting "A Year in the Life." She initially did not have very high expectations since the original series last aired so many years ago.

"I was certainly surprised that people still love it so much. It was wonderful and interesting to see this incarnation be received by the same set of fans and new fans that we have found on Netflix. It has certainly been interesting and surprising," she said.

In other news, with or without another revival 10 years from now, Bledel admitted to Variety that she is also as curious as fans as to who Rory's baby daddy is. However, she never really bothered to ask series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino because she will most definitely tell her this very early on.

"I honestly have not gone that path of imagining it. It all lives in Amy's imagination. She has a very clear vision and always has and we have not input as to the stories and the characters on the show very much," she said.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" aired four episodes on Netflix on Nov. 25, 2016.
